How bring your own model works

rConfig does not host AI models. You bring the model, with your own keys or a local LLM, and the configs are sent only to the model you control. This is what keeps AI config analysis private by default.

Your keys, your provider

Connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and other compatible services with your own API keys. rConfig calls the provider you choose, on the account you control, and you decide which model runs each request.

A fully local LLM

Point rConfig at a local model running inside your own environment. For air-gapped and zero-outbound deployments the AI makes no external call at all, and your configurations never leave the building.

The secure connector

rConfig sends configuration context only to the model endpoint you control. Nothing is stored, logged, or shared by rConfig, and you set exactly what context each request is allowed to see.

rConfig GenAI reads and explains. To generate and run automation scripts from your own AI coding tools, that is the job of the rConfig MCP server.
